Amalgam-free practice
For several years it has been proven that amalgam continuously releases tiny amounts of mercury. Opinions vary widely as to whether this has harmful effects. For reasons of preventive health protection and poor aesthetics, we do not use amalgam in our practice. We would be happy to advise you on alternative filling materials. Whether or not it makes sense to remove your old amalgam fillings must be decided on a case-by-case basis. If you have decided on amalgam restoration, we proceed very carefully and attach particular importance to comprehensive safety measures.
